An Interesting Position
I read a different view of the Ten Commandment controversy today. In seems that a columnist in a local paper was wondering why Christians were so concerned about supporting the keeping of the Ten Commandments in court houses and etc., when they do not claim to obey them, as the law of Christ took them out of the way, nailing them to His cross. What do you think???

Never really thought about it that way. My fear is that the attempts to remove the ten commandments and other Biblical references is more of an attempt to remove God from the moral fabric of our society. Let's not forget that 9 of 10 of those commands are part of the New Testament design as well and the Sabbath has been replaced with honoring the day our Lord arose from the grave. The same moral standard in the 10 commandments are carried over to the new covenant. Certainly I would want all men everywhere to be Christians. Yet if they fall short of that we are still better off if they at least acknowledge and respect the moral elements of Scripture.
