Anxiously Waiting
We arrived at Danny & Kimberly's around 4:30 p.m. this evening (Wednesday). Now the time until our flight to Guatemala early Monday begins. There are some activities which we think will cause the time to pass a little more quickly than expected. Grandma brought some gifts for our new grandaughter (Catie) which included a homemade quilt, dress, booties, and a shaw. She's not a bit excited! As for me I have been busy eating Anthony and Elli's Easter candy. I taught them to share. We planned on not gaining any weight on this trip, but somehow I feel that plan slipping. We will be attending several services at a weekend meeting with the church which includes at least one dinner invitation. Also, Saturday will a recital with Anthony's violin class. These little ones are teriffic for Grandma and Grandpa's spirit, none of which we would have had a chance to be a part of without the adoptions from Guatemala. Two have been a blessing to our lives, and soon Catie will make three. We give all thanks to God that they have been allowed to be a part of our family.
Grandpa Jack
