VALUES

The election is over, the votes tallied, the people have spoken. Apparently a lot of pollsters, planners, strategist, and news media are out of touch with the comman man. Over 80% of those who voted emphasized values over all other issues, and most of the strategist did not think they were even an issue. Over the last few years we have been told that we must accept abortion, homosexuality, same sex marriages, gambling, drugs of all types, lack of respect, filthy language, and take God out of everything. Many have answered with a NOT SO.

Government is of God (Rom. 13), but God will destroy it when His values are disregarded. Just look at the example of Israel and what happened to them when they refused to follow God's law (I Cor 10:6-12). If we are to save our nation from the liberal thinking that will destroy it, we must stand for God's values. This is not the time to sit back, but the time to press on for the defeat of evil. Man " must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." ( I Pet. 3:11-12).

Let all who love God, keep His commandments, and continue the fight for righteousness.
