Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8Thoughts can be good or bad. We can think on things honest, pure, lovely, virteous and that have a good report or we can allow our thoughts to turn to evil (I Cor. 13.5). Bitterness, wrath, anger, and malice are to be replaced in our thoughts by our being tenderhearted, kind and forgiving (Eph.4:31,32). We are suppose to renew our minds and not allow our thinking to conform to the world (Rom. 12:2). Like the Thessalonians our thoughts can be shaken, troubled and deceived (II Thess. 2:2,3). Sometimes those troubled troughts are over things we are powerless to change (Lk.12:25,26), and sometimes they cause sorrow over sin (Mk. 14:72). The scriptures say a lot about thinking, thoughts, and their source in man, the heart (Est. 6:6). With these comments we begin the newest feature of our web page.
